Sam Peterson on CRC Insights

This Week on CRC Insights we are interviewing Sam Peterson.  Sam is part of the committee that is spearheading the effort to get Christians and Churches to participate in the area wide effort to to give people a "Hand Up"as children and families at the YMCA Soccer complex on August 17th. Planning help is coming from an international relief organization called "Convoy of Hope."

Each year in the United States Convoy of Hope holds up to 50 community outreaches with the help of thousands of volunteers who serve tens of thousands of guests. At each outreach free groceries, job and health fairs, and activities for children are provided. In doing so, volunteers are given an opportunity to connect with members of their community, and guests are shown love and respect regardless of age, race, physical appearance, or spiritual condition.

Local planners hope to have twenty-five-hundred to three-thousand "guests of honor" to come out for assistance. The event for children and families will be hold at the YMCA Soccer complex on August 17th.
