Stories such as this are common throughout the regular session at the West Virginia legislature. It encourages me that our studies from Paul’s letter to Philemon regarding forgiveness and reconciliation are certainly needed in the West Virginia Capitol.

This week’s study is titled “Forgiven Much? Forgive Much!” You can download our study here. We will be providing these studies three times each week during the session to allow those with extremely busy schedules to attend. We also distribute the notes to every legislator and elected official as well as many lobbyists and staff.

  • Pray that we will continue to have the opportunity to "preach and teach concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all openess and unhindered" in the capitol (Acts 28:31).
  • Pray that lawmakers, leaders, lobbyists, and staff alike will realize they may often need to seek forgiveness from others in the midst of the challenging environment of the statehouse.
  • Pray that they will understand that this is so because of the forgiveness of sin that is provided through Christ.
  • Pray that many might experience God's forgiveness as they respond to the message of the Gospel.

Thank you once again for your prayer and support for our ministry.
